Early Life

The story follows Dr. Parimal Tripathi, an amiable professor of botany who meets and falls in love with Sulekha, leading to a quick marriage. However, Parimal soon finds himself playfully exasperated by Sulekha's ceaseless admiration for her scholarly brother-in-law Raghavendra Sharma, whom she considers an infallible judge of character. To playfully challenge Raghavendra's sharp intellect and indulge in good-natured deception, Parimal devises a mischievous plan before formally introducing himself to the family.

Career

Adopting the persona of a driver named Pyaremohan who speaks only excessively formalized Hindi, Parimal infiltrates the Sharma household to serve as their personal chauffeur. The prank deepens into a comedy of errors when Parimal’s trusted friend Sukumar, an English professor, is roped in to impersonate Parimal himself, accidentally falling for Sulekha's companion Vasudha along the way.
